New Year is my favorite celebration! Snow is all around and you feel like being in fairytale because of the season decorations. Everyone likes decorating Christmas tree - so do I! In our country people usually gather together on 31st December for the dinner with whole family. Women prepare all traditional courses all day long. Everyone can't wait a moment to open the gifts which are hidden under the Christmas tree. It is mostly family celebration. When it's 12:00 you can make a wish while the clock are bitting 12 times! I always think about something kind and good for all my relatieves and close friends. Only then you can open your gifts. Thereafter it is time for some beautiful fireworks outside.
Sometimes I hate computers! Once, when I 1. was trying to do my English homework on my laptop, the battery 2. ran out. I 3. was lying on my bed and I was listening to music on Spotify. It helps me to concentrate. I 4. was also chatting to my friend Daniel on Facebook. OK, so I 5. was not concentrating very hard on my homework and I 6. forgot to plug in my laptop! I didn’t notice that the battery was getting low. I was just finishing the essay when the screen 7. went black. I 8. lost everything. I 9. screamed in frustration. My dad 10. came running into my bedroom. I 11. almost cried ("was almost crying" is also possible but much less common) so he 12. gave me his laptop. I 13. tried to remember everything in my essay – it 14. was quite difficult especially because Daniel was sending me lots of funny videos. Anyway, while I was watching one, the WiFi stopped working. In the end it was probably better because I 15. managed to finish the essay.
