We often hear that it is important to have goals in life because they make life meaningful and interesting. Without goals it is unlikely that you will make any progress. When you set a goal you know where to move. Even if there are any problems in your life you can still focus on your goal rather than these problems.
My main goal is to be happy. I have thought about it many times and I believe I have found the answer to the question “what is happiness?” For me happiness is to become a successful professional, to love and be loved, to have a big friendly family and to help other people to change their lives for the better. As you can see, one big goal breaks up into several smaller ones.
At this stage of my life my primary goals are to complete secondary education with good results and enter one of the prestigious universities in order to get a high-quality education there. This will give me a good start in my professional career. Understanding these goals helps me to study at school, do my homework with great diligence and try to learn something new every day.
I do not know whether I will be able to achieve all these goals, but even if I fail, I am sure that I will become a better person and I will find new goals to set in my life.
