Task 1. Read the text and give full answers the following questions. First of all, my life in my neighbourhood is quite simple. There is a grocery store; I go there most Wednesdays when I want to buy something quick to prepare. Also, there are other shops such as a bakery, two restaurants, and a newsagent. I am very satisfied of having a newsagent in my neighbourhood because I love reading magazines.

Near my house, there is a tennis court. It’s a place where people meet and socialize. I appreciate going there with my father during the weekend because it’s a possibility to share an activity with our parents and simply have fun! I feel like belonging to a community because I am very close to my neighbours. They give us a hand. When we go on holiday for example they feed my dog and they water the plants.

Sometimes when they want to go to the restaurant without the children, my sister

and I babysit the kids. We can say that there is solidarity between the neighbours,

that’s why I would never want to leave this neighbourhood.

I would love to travel all around the world and experience the wonders and cultures of these towns, cities and countries.  

The first place I would like to visit is Italy, my background.  

The first place I would like to visit in Italy is Tocco my Nonno and Nonna’s home town. I would love to taste there yummy foods like pasta, pizza, cakes and many more.  

The second place I would like to visit in Italy is Venezia (Venice). The town of love and romance, oh and Gondolas. I would love to go on a boat ride on a Gondola and hear the lovely sounds of the paddle swaying through the deep blue water and the Italian music being played.  

The next place I would like to visit in Italy is Rome is the Colosseum and imagine that I was one of those gladiators fighting the wild animals that were awaiting me. The next place I would like go to is the Trevi fountain and throw a coin in there, making a wish, hoping it will come true.  

The third place I would visit in Italy is Pisa and go to the leaning tower of Pisa and pretend that I’m holding it in my hands and I’m the strongest person on earth. I would go in inside and see the history that it has brought to our world.

It's a large and rich country in North America. The capital of Canada is Ottawa. The symbol of the country is a red Maple leaf. On the border with the USA, there is a beautiful Niagara waterfall. There is magnificent nature,  and friendly people live in Canada. A lot of them are good at sports.

Canadian English and French are official languages in this country.

Это большая и богатая страна в Северной Америке. Столица Канады-Оттава. Символом страны является красный кленовый лист. На границе с США находится прекрасный Ниагарский водопад. Здесь великолепная природа, а в Канаде живут дружелюбные люди. Многие из них-хорошие спортсмены.
