Text 1: 15-year-old Jack Stamford runs in the woods with a special gun, mask andgloves. Suddenly, orange paint hits him. No, he isn't in an action movie. He's a tournament paintballer!
So, what's paintballing exactly? Well, every week, Jack travels to a big field, building
wood and takes part in a fantasy game.
One week he's a spy, the next he's a 'Tomb Raider' adventurer. His team thinks of a
plan, then they try to shoot their enemy with big balls of paint Jack hides behind props
but rarely stays still. Sometimes, the games last two hours, sometimes two days! Jack
loves his hobby. But how often does a paintball hit him?
"A lot," he says. "It hurts... but I forget it quickly!"
