My Favourite Sport Is Swimming
I love swimming. I love doing the starfish float on the water and I enjoy diving as well.
My father taught me to swim when I was five. It was in the summer when we went to the seaside on holiday. Since that time my favourite summer pastime has been swimming in our river or the local swimming pool. In fact I usually go to the swimming pool three times a week and these days are the best for me. I have already taken part in a few school swimming competitions and I can say I like races, especially when I win them.
I think I like swimming because it is a great exercise to my body. Swimming makes me fit and healthy. It also helps me to relax and feel free of any problems.

Мой папа научил меня плавать, когда мне было пять лет. Это было летом, когда мы отправились в отпуск на море. С того времени мое любимое летнее занятие — плавать в речке или в местном бассейне. Вообще я обычно хожу в бассейн три раза в неделю, и эти дни для меня самые лучшие. Я думаю, мне нравится плавать, потому что это отличное упражнение для тела. Плавание делает меня крепким и здоровым. Оно также мне расслабиться и не думать о проблемах.
