I learned to play chess at the age of three (my father was my teacher). At the age of six, I attended classes at a chess club. In the future, this exciting game has firmly entered my life, and I am glad.

What is so fascinating about chess and why has this game become my favorite? The 12th World Champion A. Karpov said that chess is an amazing game that contains science, art, and sports. I completely agree with this opinion, as I was convinced of this myself.

Chess shapes my character, makes me smarter and stronger physically (sounds amazing!), Allows me to find new acquaintances, friends and spend my leisure time in a fun way. And my words are confirmed.

New acquaintances are involved not only in visiting city, city youth and adult tournaments. And, which happens quite often, acquaintance develops into friendly relations and even into friendship.

Playing chess promotes the development of my logical thinking and imagination. Mentally calculating the possible moves and answers of the opponent, look for cunning and insidious continuation of the game. By this, chess is associated with geometry (section stereometry) - solving problems in the classroom at school, include complex geometric shapes (elements in problems), look for extraordinary solutions.

Playing chess builds my character. After all, there are not only victories, but also defeats, which I have learned to endure.
