1. "Close the door, please," Ann said to Jack. 
 Ann asked Jack to close the door.
2. "Get out of the car! " he said to them. 
He told them to get out of the car.
3. "Let's go shopping," she said to me. 
She suggested that we (should) go shopping.
4. "Please, please don't go," he said to Mary.
He begged Mary not to go. 
5. "Don't touch anything," she said to him.
She ordered him not to touch anything. 
6. “Wait for me for a minute, please,” he said to me. 
He asked me to wait for him for a minute.
7. “Make me a coffee, now!” the boss said to her. 
The boss told her to make a coffee for him then.
8. “Please, let me stay,” he said to them.
He asked them to let him stay.

The girls went into— the street and came up to— — the shop window. They stood looking at— the only thing in— the window, — a double rope of pearls.

"What do you think is the price of— those pearls?" Annabel said.

"Oh, I don't know, I wonder if they are on— sale," Midge answered.

"Go — and ask the price," Annabel said.

"Well," Midge said. "But you've got to come too."

They walked into— the shop and a clerk came —up to — them.

"It so happened that my friend and myself were passing by— your shop," Midge started. "And we were wondering how much are those pearls you've got in— your window."

"Ah, yes," the clerk said. "The double rope. That is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, Madam."

"I see," Midge said.

"Would you like to look at— it?" "No, thank you. We were just passing by—." The clerk opened the door for( можно взять и предлог  in front of)— them and they walked —out from — the shop.

They were silent and their eyes were cloudy. As they walked —out in — the street Midge said: "Two hundred fifty thousand! That's a quarter of— a million! Have you ever heard of— anything like that!"
