TURGEN WATERFALLS Turgen Waterfalls is a beautiful area located in the Trans-lli
Alatau area of the Tian Shan Mountains. It is around 70 km
east of Almaty and it is surrounded by thick, coniferous
forests and green meadows full of pretty flowers and other
plants. Nearby, there are also wonderful natural springs and
impressive waterfalls.

Our friend Captain Brown told us very interesting story about his voyage. It happend 15 years ago, when Captain Brown was a mate on the ship, which was going to NY. One morning captain said m-r Brown, that he had heard strange voice at night. It told several times him only ''north-north-west''. So, captain decided to sail on this directon, in spite of protests m-r Brown and other members of the ship's crew.  Next day they noticed something black in the water. It turned to be a little boat, where a man slept. The stranger were sleepping, when he was taken into their ship. When he woked up he was really shocked. Captain said this man, that he is glad, that he and his crew had been able to save him. However, it occured, that this man had not get into a trouble. The man was Captain Wilson, who were making a record voyge from NY to Liverpool in a small boat. 

In 1493 Ivan III around the Kremlin have removed all the wooden buildings, to avoid fires. And to trade near the Eastern wall there was an area called the Trading or Bargaining. It also was called a Fire because of the frequent fires here. In the 16th century Red square was called Trinity, in the name of Trinity Church, located in the southern part of the square. In the years 1508-1516 along the Kremlin wall for defensive purposes was dug ditch width of more than 36 m and 10 m deep, which filled with water. In the 17th century across the ditch built bridges to Nikolsky and Spassky gate. The square was called red, which meant beautiful. Gradually, the Red square in Moscow became not only commercial, but also political center.
