When I was a little boy, my dad took me to football matches that took place in our city. We went to support our home team. Later I started playing football with other boys in the yard and now I play in our school team. There are a few reasons why I love football. Firstly, this game keeps us active and fit. It is important to be able to run fast and think quickly. Secondly, it requires little equipment. All we need for a game is a few players, a ball and a flat open area to play. Football can be played in yards, parks, school sportgrounds and stadiums. Thirdly, this game is easy to learn. It is not just about kicking the ball. It is important to learn to pass and receive the ball while dodging opponents and to shoot the ball into the goal net in order to score a goal. Fourthly, I like that football brings so many different emotions to players and their fans. The fifth reason is that football teaches us to be good team players.
I do not think that I will become a professional footballer, but I will always enjoy playing football with my friends.
