In December 2012, the coaching staff of the Russian youth national team (u-17), led by Dmitry Ulyanov, called Miranchuk to the Granatkin memorial [7]. His team won this tournament[8]. He also played for the Russian u-18 and u-19 youth teams.
He made his senior national team debut on 7 October 2017 in a friendly match against the Republic of Korea. On may 11, 2018, he was included in the extended squad for the home world Cup. He was included in the final bid of the national team for the 2018 world Cup together with his brother Alexey, but did not take the field at the tournament (Alexey played one match at the tournament).
In June 2019, he was called up to the national team for the 2020 European championship qualifiers against San Marino and Cyprus. In the match with San Marino, he scored his debut goal[9] in official matches for the national team, and also gave an assist (9: 0) (previously scored a goal for the national team in a match against Dynamo Moscow in 2017[10]). On September 6, 2020, he scored a goal against the Hungarian national team (3: 2)in the 2020/21 Nations League. In the next match of the Russian national team in the League of Nations against Turkey (1: 1) on October 11, he again scored a goal[11].
Personal life
In July 2019, together with his brother Alexey, he defended his master's thesis at the faculty of physical culture of the Moscow state regional University[12].
