Что такое циклон?
1 абзац. Циклон это разрушительный ветер, который сопровождается дождём. На своём пути он срывает с домов крыши, уничтожает посевы, вырывает с корнем деревья. В центре циклона быстро вра щаютея огромные массы воздуха. «Циклон» греческое слово, означает «вращающийся».
2 Абзац. Метеостанции следят за тем, как перемешается циклон, и предупреждают о возможной опасности воздушные и морские суда и жителей мест, расположенных на его пути. Циклон охватывает территории в сотни и даже тысячи километров. В Азии циклоны называются тайфунами, на Антильских островах - ураганами, а в Африке и США - торнадо.
