We often think of novels as places in 1)(where,who,which)to lose ourselves, but the truth is that reading can have a much more far-reaching effect. If you find2) (your, yourself, you) in trouble, there's always a book to remind you that others have been there before. It's just a question of finding the right book. And that is where bibliotherapy comes in: the use of books to help people deal with their problems, whatever they 3)(may,can,will) be. The treatment has become more4)(and,in,than) more common in recent years, and today it is practised 5)(for,by,of) psychologists - and librarians - all over the world. There is also scientific evidence in favour of the technique. Researchers at Sussex University in the UK have found that reading is a more effective way of relieving stress than listening to music, going for a walk or sitting down6)(anywhere, everywhere, somewhere)with a cup of tea. After just six minutes with a book - any book - the people in the study found their stress levels 7)(were,are,been) reduced by up to 68%. This suggests that the therapy could help people8)(which,whose,who) lives have become meaningless leading them to fall into depression. If they have the right book recommended to 9) (them, themselves, they) , they may get over their illness quicker. Bibliotherapy can certainly10) (take, make,do) no harm. At the very least, a patient will discover some great new titles to read.
2. I think I am very good at it.
3. I like Nordic Walking; because I can always be outside and it is easy to do; without any effort.
4. I go walking nearly every day. Only when it is raining cats and dogs and without ceasing; I don`t do it. Sometimes I go walking for one hour or two. It depends on the time I can spend for it.
5. I started to walk since I can remember; very early. My parents took me for the walk. Later I went walking together with my best girl friend: we also took our dog; a German shepherd , for the walk.
6. Today my coach is not only my own desire; but also my job. I carry out newspapers in the morning. So I have to be in good condition. If there is something, from what I can learn; it is to have persistancy and discipline . Otherwise I could not probably do it. I hope I will keep my body in good condition ; even when I am getting old.
