Article 1. Basic principles of civil law
1. Civil law is based on the recognition of equality of participants of relations regulated by it, the inviolability of property, freedom of contract, the inadmissibility of arbitrary interference by anyone in private Affairs, the necessity of the unhindered exercise of civil rights, the restoration of violated rights and their judicial protection.

2. Citizens (physical persons) and legal entities acquire and exercise their civil rights of their own free will and in their own interest. They are free to establish their rights and obligations under the contract and to determine any contradicting the legislation of contract.

Civil rights may be limited under the Federal law and only to the extent that this is necessary in order to protect the foundations of the constitutional system, morality, health, rights and lawful interests of other persons, national defense and state security.

3. At the establishment, implementation and protection of civil rights and in the performance of civil duties of participants of civil legal relations shall act in good faith.

4. No one has the right to remove benefit from their illegal or dishonest behavior.

5. Goods, services and financial resources move freely throughout the territory of the Russian Federation.

Restrictions on the movement of goods and services may be imposed in accordance with the Federal law, if necessary for safety, protection of life and health of people, protection of nature and cultural values.

The civil legislation is based on recognition of the equality of participants controlled their relations, the inviolability of property, freedom of contract, the inadmissibility of arbitrary interference by anyone in private affairs, the need for the smooth implementation of the civil rights, ensuring the restoration of violated rights and their legal protection.
2. Citizens (natural persons) and legal entities acquire and exercise their civil rights of their own free will and in their own interest. They are free to establish their rights and obligations on the basis of a contract and determining not contradict the legislation of any terms of the contract.
Civil rights may be limited by federal law and only to the extent that this is necessary in order to protect the constitutional order, morality, health, rights and lawful interests of other persons, national defense and state security.
3. When establishing, implementing and protecting the civil rights and civil obligations of participants in civil legal relationships must act in good faith.
4. No one has the right to benefit from their illegal or dishonest behavior.
