There are about 800 people, so it's quite
a small community. There are only two shops!
Are there lots of cars in Taloyoak? A barge comes in summer and brings our supplies for the year.
How do you get your supplies?
There isn't much traffic - everyone travels by ski-doo!

Is there much to do there in your free time?
Well, there's a dance hall and a swimming pool. You can't swim in
the sea here! I'm a big fan of ice-skating - it's very popular here.
Is it always cold where you live?
How much snow is there?
It's about -25°C in winter. So, yes, it's quite cold! For a short time
in summer there isn't any snow, but in winter there's a lot.
Well, I like my town because I've got a lot of good friends here. But one
day I think I want to live in a big city - maybe Vancouver or Toronto.
Do you like living in the Arctic?
