At 4, Tanishq became a member of MENSA To become a member the only qualification is a score in the top 2 percentile of the general population on a standardized intelligence test.
At 5, he completed all 5 grades of the math courses offered by Stanford University's Education Program for Gifted Youth
At 6, he took high school and college courses in chemistry, paleontology, biology, and geology.
At 7, he took Geology and Astronomy courses in the American River College in Sacramento and cleared the courses with “A” grades.
At 8, he was a founding vice-president for an Astronomy club at his college. At 10 years old, he received his high school diploma. At age 11 he received associate degrees in Mathematical and Physical Sciences, General Science and Foreign Language Studies, with a Grade Point Average ) score of 4.0 from American River College
While 7 he also completed an online chemistry course at UC Berkeley.
At 9, he became a member of the two-year college honor society Phi Theta Kappa, and at age 10, he was elected Vice-President of Communications for the 2013-2014 term and re-elected for 2014 to 2015. At 9, he became the youngest person to present at a NASA conference.
