My name is Kara Unger, and I have been teaching 4th to 6th grade special education students for seven years at Ben Franklin Elementary School in Corona, California. I hold two Education Specialist credentials, one for servicing students with mild to moderate disabilities and another for working with students with moderate to severe disabilities. I hold an autism certification, as well as a certificate for assistive technology.
My passion for using technology as a teaching tool led me to an opportunity to teach an education technology course for new teacher cohorts at Claremont Graduate University, where I have served as an adjunct professor for the last two years.
My goal is to continue to find new and exciting ways to utilize technology within the classroom, and to encourage students and educators alike to delve into this dynamic and exciting world of information.
