I believe that critical thinking is better. But this does not mean that the analytical thinking worse. Warehouse mind largely determines the professional activity of the person, because the work must conform to it. Only in this case, to perform their duties will be easier to achieve more significant as a career will be much easier. For example, for me in the future no longer need critical thinking, since it is based on an emotional way of understanding the world, and people who want to be, say, physics need analytical thinking, because it uses the logic of the information and decision-making analysis.
