Dear Mary,
In summer I was in Moscow with my Mum and Dad. I loved this city. You know, Moscow is the capital of Russia. I visited Red Square the main square of the city of Moscow. The square is more beautiful than it's in pictures. There we saw the most beautiful masterpieces of Russian architecture - the Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral. We also visited the Tretyakov State Gallery and the guide told us about the creation of the gallery and about its founders. I remember the painting "Morning in a Pine Wood" by Ivan Shishkin. It's a beautiful picture! I was in the Moscow zoo and saw a lot of cute animals. There I met a nice girl Masha from the capital. She told me many interesting things about Moscow as we were walking along the famous Arbat street. We had a lot of fun together and I enjoyed my trip to Moscow. We took a lot of photos there. That's how I spent my summer in Moscow. That's all for now.
Write back soon.
Best wishes,
Alyona
