I  think that teen fashion in Russia is not very different from fashion in European countries. Jeans are one of the most popular things to wear. Teenagers prefer it with different decorations, with holes or unusual design. The most popular colour of jeans is blue but some teenagers wear red and white. Tight trousers and breeches with low waist are also popular, even among boys. Most of teenage girls prefer wearing miniskirts. Blouses are not very popular; instead teenagers prefer wearing tops with stomach shown. It is reason for many protests of adults; they call it "wearing nothing, going naked".

Kyiv is the city with a history that spans more than a millennium. It is one of the most picturesque cities in the world. Green streets fully harmonize with impressive architecture.

During the reign of Prince Volodymyr the Great, the first stone church in Ukraine was built. The Golden Gate, built in the 11th century, was the primary entrance to the fortress. It was very famous in Eastern Europe. It was restored in 1989.

St Sophia’s Cathedral is located not far from the Golden Gate. It faces a square, in the centre of which there is a monument to Bohdan Khmelnytsky, the Hetman of the Ukrainian Cossacks.

St Sophia’s Cathedral was often used to receive foreign ambassadors and sign treaties in the past. The first school and library was situated in the church as well.

The church was built in 1037 by Prince Yaroslav the Wise to commemorate the victory over the Pechenigs. At that time it was a major cultural and political centre of Kyivan Rus.
