Rostov-on-Don - is the biggest city in the South of Russia. The population of Rostov is over 2 million people. It was built in 1749 as a fortress. The Heart of Rostov is Bolshaya Sadovaya street. The richest princes of the city lived there. Now, you can see a lot of old and beautiful houses. You can also see a lot of industrial buildings there.
This city is situated on the river Don. If you'll go to the left coast of it, you'll see a lot of restaurants, entertainment centers. And if you'll go to the right coast, you'll see a lot of factories and plants.
There is a special accent in Rostov. This is because, in this city live a lot of Ukrainian. They all speak sometimes Russian, sometimes Ukrainian.
If you will go to the Gorky park in Rostov, you'll be surprised. There is a lot if different shops, centers, restaurants.
