Task 2. Read the text again and answer the questions.
1. What does the character decide after trying the food?
Green Eggs and Ham by Dr Seuss
A character named Sam tries to get another character to eat green food. Sam asks if he would eat it in a boat or a house, or with a goat or a mouse! The other character doesn’t want to eat the strange food, but he eventually agrees to do it if Sam leaves him alone. After he tries the food, he decides he likes it. The story tells kids that you can’t know you don’t like something until you try it.

The most famous and impressive sport event in France in the country is Tour De Force. This is an annual multiply stage bicycle race originally held in France. Riders from other countries desire to participate too nowadays. The most famous rider in France is Lance Armstrong whose victory was surrounded with gossips and controversies.

Самое известное и впечатляющее спортивное событие, которое проходит во Франции – Тур Де Форс. Это ежегодная многоэтапная велосипедная гонка, которая берет свои корни в этой стране. Гонщики из разных стран мечтают поучаствовать в этой гонке тоже. Самый известный гонщик Франции – Ланс Армстронг, чья победа была окружена слухами и противоречиями.

Winter in Canada may be chilly, but it has plenty to offer both the adventure seeker and city slicker.

Many of the people who visit Canada in the winter do so specifically for the winter activities like skiing, but even if you're not a fan of cold weather, there are reasons why winter may be your best time plan a trip.

For one thing, certain times of the winter offer extremely affordable airfare and hotel rates. If you've always wanted to see Montreal, but are on a tight budget, maybe the slow post-Christmas season is your best bet. 

Second, not all of Canada is freezing cold in the winter. Western Canada, including Vancouver and Victoria have moderate climates and little snow. Of course, the country's best ski hills are not far away. 

Finally, if you avoid travelling during winter because the snow and cold scares you off, try to alter your mindset to embrace the experience
