Languages help people to understand each other better, they help them to solve different economic and political problems, which stands before them, and so people learn foreign languages.Over one billion people speak English. That's almost one fifth of the world's population. For over 400 million it's their first language. For the other 600 million it's either a second language or a foreign language.Today, in fact, over 250 million people are learning English. That's more than the population of the USA.Nowadays, a lot of people study foreign languages in every possible way. I think English is worth studying. There is a proverb "A new language — a new world"A lot of problems of the 21st century, such as the problems of war and peace, ecology, can not be solved without speaking the same language.Some people learn English because they need it in their work; others to travel aboard and for lots of people learning English is just a hobby.
I meet Ann last week. She is 25 yearss old. Ann is a teacher at High school. She has beautiful brown eyes and she is very tall and skinny.She has a husband and a lovely daughter. also Ann likes to play volleyball and basketball. when i saw her at the very firs time she was moving to new place. she had a lot of stuff and I helped her. so we became friends anf good neighbours. one week ago she invited me to have a dinner with her family. we had fun. the dinner was really tasty, she made wonderful pancakes.
