Bringing about a “change” in the “society” even as an individual needs some courage. Think about this where you’re trying to the “right” thing redefining the morals entirely and you’ve people calling you “crazy” for a common man!
So let’s be prepared and change can be those little things which can make a positive impact. Not all have to do with charity, economy etc. It could also be about peace and harmony which is mostly needed.
Stop the mass mentality. Read something on facebook, whatsapp or sms? Get the facts in place and educate people before the havoc begins.
Be empathetic to someone’s struggle. Be it a bad day they’re having, emotional struggles and that push to move ahead.
Be kind to strangers. Most of us are faking that smile to make it through and battling in our minds. A friendly chat wouldn’t kill us.
Standup for those who can’t speak/act for themselves. It could be injustice, insult or molestation. Culprits never act when they know they’ll be surrounded and pinned down.
Focus on nurturing talents and create opportunities. Kids of all deserve the best of education, sports and truth. They don’t need fabrication, unwanted stress and negativity. When they’re aware of facts they’ll be in a better stage to be responsible citizens.
Act on the needs for fresh food, fresh air and health. Less parks in societies, play grounds in schools, more vehicles on road, dirt stalled and packaged food on a rise. Isn’t it already sickening to see more people in hospitals shedding money just to live! Few of these will intervention from local authorities. And I don’t think every official is doing a bad job and has no open mindedness for discussions. Groups reaching out with data, ideas and followup can alert things!
Elect the right and better leaders. It’s an open fact on how much we emphasize caste, religion, regionalism and votes for money. This is the most impacted issue that there’s no denial about. How do you expect the laws and society to change when your leaders can’t understand or comprehend? They’ll have a gala time as long as we let them be
