Мой отец Харальд Даль был норвежцем.Он приехал из маленького городка,недалеко от Осло,который называется Сарпсборг.У его отца(моего дедушки) был магазин в этом городе,где он продавал всё:от сыра до мыла.Город родился,я думаю,1820 году,тогда как мой отец  и его брат Оскар родились в 1873 году.Мой отец и Оскар были хорошими друзьями.Когда они окончили школу,они решили уехать в одну из крупных стран,вроде Англии или Франции.Они думали,что в таком маленьком городке Сарпсборг,в такой маленькой стране,как Норвегия нет мест,где люди смогли бы заработать состояние.Они отправились во Францию,там мой дядя Оскар остался навсегда,а отец переехал в Южный Уэльс,где я родился и вырос.
