Nowadays it is difficult  to imagine our life without the cinema. There is no problem to go to the cinema nowadays. Every town and city has at least one cinema hall where one can see a film. There are even specialized big halls for showing films in 3D.

Box-offices work long hours and besides you can buy tickets through the Internet.

The movies last for about one or two hours and most cinemas have several shows a day. A lot of films are aimed at a large audience and are mostly entertaining.

In modern cinemas they create all conditions for comfortable watching a film. For example, there are big halls, comfortable seats, wide screens, good sound equipment, drinks and refreshments in the foyer and many other things.

They show a lot of different kinds of films:  war and historical films, musical films, horror films, thrillers,  science fiction, comedy films, westerns, fantasy films,  documentaries, animated cartoons and others.

As for me, I'm fond of going to the cinema. I prefer to go there with my friends. It's a pity, I don't always have free time for it.
