Adverb Clauses with Time
Adverb clauses can be joined by time conjunctions (сполучниками чacy) like 'when', 'as soon as', 'until', 'after', 'before', 'while' etc. A time conjunction gives us information about when two events happen, relative to each other.
'When' is a conjunction that means 'at that moment, at that time'.
I wasn't watching TV when you called me.
'Until' and 'till' are conjunctions that express 'up to a time in the past or future'. 'Till' is usually only used in spoken English.
We waited until he finished his homework.
'Not until / till' can mean the same as 'not before'.
In this case we use 'before':
