It’s one of the most important national holidays in the United states. On this day in 1776 the United States declared their independence from England. This holiday started celebration of the America’s birthday. People celebrate it on the 4th of July with picnics, parades and fireworks. They have fun taking part in baseball games, three-legged races, and a pie-eating or watermelon-eating competitons. People enjoy watching parades or marching to the music of high school bands. For many people it is a holiday and a day to relax and entertain themselves. Wherever Americans are they will get together for a traditional 4th of July.
